For those new to the show ring, we offer our six show, "Partridge Stepping Stone Show Series" in addition to attending a number of local horse shows as well as Ontario Trillium (Silver) shows each year. For the more aspiring competitor we offer a full-service show experience at the A or AA rated level at top show venues in both Canada & the US.  

Our 2012 show schedule will be tailored to the requests of our clients, as their satisfaction is a priority for us.

2012 A/AA Rated Shows may include: The Royal Winter Fair, Quebec A Circuit, Ontario A Circuit, Old Salem Farm (NY), Vermont Summer Festival (VT), HITS Saugerties (NY), Lake Placid (NY) as well as others.

Partridge Stepping Stone Show Series

 Starting in 2012 Partridge Acres will be hosting 6 Horse Shows that will make up the Partridge Stepping Stone Show Series. The intention of this series is to offer a FUN, low cost, positive development showing experience. This series will offer a range of classes & divisions suitable for all ages & rider levels starting from the very young and/or beginner riders. Examples of classes and divisions may include lead line, poles, cross-rails, short stirrup, baby green, ponies, pre-childrens, pre-adult, various equitation classes, as well a selection of special classes such as costume. The series will be comprised of two Circuits- Spring & Fall. The Spring Circuit shows will be held in March, April and May, while the Fall Circuit shows will take place in September, October and November. The November show will be a “Grand Finale Mini-Royal” Championship. Each division will honor a Series Champion and Reserve Champion as well as the top 5 overall per division. Great Prizes & awards! Stepping Stone Pre-Show Prep Clinic

Saturday March 24th 2012

1:30-5:30 pm

Discover the secrets to success in the hunter/equitation ring.

Clinic includes riding & non-riding portions.

In the riding portion, riders will have the opportunity to practice “mock” under saddle and over fences classes while receiving tips & tricks on how to improve their performance. Riders will also be videoed and as a group we will review the videos in the lounge on our TV while enjoying some light refreshments. There is no better way to learn, than watching yourself and analyzing your own performance.

In the non-riding portion, riders will cover topics including winning turnout for horse and rider, mental preparation, show check lists and achieving overall show ready confidence.

All levels of riders are welcome.

We encourage ship-ins.
