In giving all riders the opportunity to particpate in horse shows. We invite and encourage all our students, regardless of age and riding level, to participate in our Partridge Stepping Stone Show Series.
Our Values
From our 2 year old Pre-Pony Garten students to our competitive show riders each one receives the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling and balanced program.
An important aspect which we emphasize from the very beginning are proper Horsemanship skills. In order for our Partridge Riding Academy members to become well rounded equestrians, we have developed a highly successful Horsemanship & Activity Days program which compliments our exciting Badge Days concept.
Badge Days
Each Partridge Riding Academy student has the exciting opportunity to participate in Bi-Annual Badge Day Testing which usually takes place in October and April. Badge Days are composed of riding and horsemanship sections. Riding skills appropriate for the level are practised during regular riding lessons. Horsemanship skills are developed during riding lessons as well as additional Horsemanship & Activity Days. Partridge Badge Days ensure that every Partridge Academy student obtains a solid base of equestrian knowledge while being challenged to further their skills and reach the next level. Participants that successfully complete their Badge Level are rewarded with a special “horse show style” ribbon that corresponds to the testing level as well as a written evaluation form. Pre-testing group activity days are organized prior to the testing to ensure each candidate is adequately prepared for their Badge Test.

Horsemanship & Activity Days
To compliment our Badge Days, we organize bi-monthly Horsemanship & Activity Days suitable and tailored to every age level. Horsemanship Days offer riders a fun and educational experience to gain in-depth knowledge of the behind the scenes care of their equine partners. Topics discussed and demonstrated on these days go beyond the ordinary riding lesson experience. Occasionally we call in various professionals from the field of equine health and wellbeing to share their own expansive knowledge on a particular topic.
From time to time we gear the events towards Activity Days which focus on fun group events such as musical rides, parades, costume parties, movie nights and more.
Partridge Stepping Stone Show Series
Starting in 2012 Partridge Acres will be hosting 6 Horse Shows that will make up the Partridge Stepping Stone Show Series.
The intention of this series is to offer a FUN, low cost, positive development showing experience. This series will offer a range of classes & divisions suitable for all ages & rider levels starting from the very young and/or beginner riders.
Examples of classes and divisions may include lead line, poles, cross-rails, short stirrup, baby green, ponies, pre-childrens, pre-adult, various equitation classes, as well a selection of special classes such as costume.
Shows will be held in March, April and May, September, October and November.

The Atmosphere at Partridge Acres
The atmosphere at Partridge Acres is unlike any other. A warm and friendly, yet very professional atmosphere greets anyone who steps inside. At Partridge, riders become part of a team environment and truly become an extended family. We have created an oasis for riders and their mounts and we welcome you to join us.
